About Me
I'm Emma. I'm the owner of Evergreen State Contracting, a single mom to my beautiful two-year-old daughter and this construction company.
I’ve poured my heart into this company since starting it in 2024. I’ve worked in construction basically my whole adult life because I genuinely love it—the physical labor, the visible results, and the satisfaction of building something with my own hands. I’m someone who thrives on hard work so this scratches that itch for me.
Starting this business was a leap I’m thankful I took, even though I had no idea how many responsibilities I would have on my plate and how much I’d have to learn—codes, contracts, taxes, time management, trade skills, etc. If I had known how overwhelming it would be, it would've been too intimidating, but I’m so glad I jumped in anyway. Through all the ups and downs, this business has sustained my little family, helped me grow so much as a person, and I am so proud to be able to show my daughter what it means to be a capable, independent woman. Even though I’m young, learning something new every day, and working in a field that’s stereotypically male-dominated, I know I belong here. I’ve seen how a lack of communication, inflated egos, and underwhelming results can leave people frustrated—and I'm building this company to be the opposite of that. I come into your space with integrity, humility, clear communication, and excited about the change coming into your space.
Evergreen State Contracting is still a small company, which means there’s a lot of accountability and direct connection between me and my clients. I’m involved in every step of the process, and when you reach out, I’ll always be your first point of contact.
